La Jolla, CA. – Internationally renowned physicians and scientists specializing in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and embryo transfer will meet in San Diego July 17 to share the latest developments in this rapidly expanding field. Reproductive Partners Fertility Center – San Diego, UC San Diego, and Spain’s Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad are hosting the four-day event at the Hotel Del Coronado.

The international conference, which has been held in Santa Barbara for almost three decades, moved to a larger venue in San Diego to accommodate the growing interest in reproductive medicine and the increasing popularity of the annual summit. Organized since its inception by   Reproductive Partners Founder and Co-Scientific Director Dr. David Meldrum, the conference presents the most important advancements in the specialty of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).

“We invited some of the most established and well-recognized speakers from around the globe to participate in this event,” notes Dr. Meldrum. “These are the people who are leading the charge on cutting edge research and best practices. The information shared at this conference will continue to promote ongoing standards for treatment and has contributed significantly to the excellent IVF results reported within the United States.”

The July event is the premier international IVF conference for medical professionals and has been recognized as the most successful postgraduate IVF course in the world. Speakers will focus on emerging research findings, current ART science and best clinical practices.

An alternate mini-symposium will be offered in Spanish by six of the scheduled speakers.

In addition to Dr. Meldrum, Reproductive Partners Fertility Center – San Diego will be well represented at the speakers’ podium by Medical Director Dr. Gabriel Garzo, Co-Scientific Director Dr. William Schoolcraft and Reproductive Partners Physician and UC San Diego Division Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Dr. Antoni Duleba.

The center, located in La Jolla, leads the way in establishing high standards for success and safety during ART treatment. Reproductive Partners-San Diego fertility specialists are experiencing phenomenal success with single embryo transfer, a procedure that can virtually eliminate twin pregnancies for IVF patients. Their rate of single embryo transfers is among the highest in the nation.
