Fast Track Program

The Fast Track program was created for patients who would like to move forward with their Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) or In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment plan as soon as possible and make the most of their initial consultation. In a standard treatment cycle, the patient meets with a physician who reviews their medical history and may recommend testing in order to establish an individual treatment plan.

Our Fast Track program expedites the fertility journey, by ensuring that the essential fertility tests, if not already completed, are ordered prior to your first visit. This enables your physician to review the results during your first consultation, and streamlines the process, allowing your physician to customize your treatment plan from the outset. Ultimately, this approach empowers you to commence treatment promptly, should you choose to do so.

If you are interested in the Fast Track program, please call 1-858-552-9177. A clinical liaison will assist you in scheduling the necessary tests. Please keep in mind some insurance plans require prior authorization before covering any testing.

Diagnostic Testing to Complete for New Patient Visit

A semen analysis is a test that evaluates the quality of the sperm by measuring its count, motility, and morphology. The results of the test can help diagnose fertility problems and guide treatment decisions.

To schedule a semen analysis appointment, please call our office at 1-858-552-9177. Appointments are offered Monday through Friday. We prefer the specimen collection is completed at our facility; however, if you prefer to collect the sample at home, please let a member of our staff know in order to provide you with a collection kit. Please keep in mind the sample must be brought to our office within 30 minutes of the collection time. For an adequate sample, you must have at least 2 days of sexual abstinence, but no more than 4 days prior to the collection.

Results of the testing take approximately one week from the time of the collection.

These hormone tests are used to evaluate ovarian function. Testing is completed via blood draw, and must be performed on cycle day 2 or 3. No fasting is necessary.

To schedule this test, please wait until cycle day one (first day of full flow bleeding) then call our office phone at 1-858-552-9177 and ask to speak with one of our clinical liaisons. If preferred, and allowed by your insurance, we can provide you with a lab requisition that will allow you to go to an outside laboratory facility to have the required testing completed.

Results take up to 7 days from the date of collection.
