Your Fertility Consultation

Your first visit to Reproductive Partners Fertility Center – San Diego (RPSD) is the first step toward achieving your family-building goals. We offer both in-office and virtual consultations with our expert fertility specialists. During this comprehensive appointment, we review your medical history, discuss your fertility options, perform an ultrasound evaluation, and create a customized treatment plan tailored to your needs. Whether you’re exploring IVF, egg freezing, or other fertility treatments, our compassionate team is here to provide clear guidance and personalized support every step of the way.

Preparing For Your First Visit

When you schedule an initial consultation with one of our physicians, our New Patient Experience Specialist will promptly invite you to register for your patient portal. Through the portal, you will have the convenience of completing a medical history questionnaire, uploading your insurance information, and filling out necessary new patient documents ahead of your first visit. Rest assured, our dedicated New Patient Experience Specialist and Clinical Liaison will collaborate closely with you to ensure that your first visit with your physician is seamless and tailored to your specific needs.

Your Fertility Treatment Plan

We believe in personalized care that caters to the individual needs of each patient. The time it takes to develop a treatment plan and start treatment can vary from patient to patient, depending on the complexity of the case and the necessary diagnostic tests. However, our San Diego fertility clinic strives to provide prompt and efficient care, and treatment can begin as soon as we gather enough information to create a customized plan. During your initial fertility consultation, your physician will provide more specific information about your fertility treatment timeline.

We highly encourage partners, if applicable, to attend your initial consultation with the physician. Bringing your partner to the consultation allows them to ask questions and enables our physician to better understand your fertility goals. We believe that including your partner in the consultation process can lead to better outcomes and a more comprehensive understanding of your unique fertility needs.

Costs & Insurance Coverage

Our financial counselors are available to provide information regarding costs and financial packages associated with treatment, and answer any questions you may have.

We are contracted with many Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and Point Of Service (POS) insurance plans. Even if we are not contracted with your insurance, you can undergo treatment at Reproductive Partners Fertility Center – San Diego (RPSD) and send the bills to your insurance company for direct reimbursement based on your infertility coverage.
