Rachel Whynott, M.D.

Rachel Whynott, MD is a double board-certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She provides comprehensive fertility care, including fertility preservation, egg freezing, in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), and tubal ligation reversal. She is also highly skilled in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, including hysteroscopy, laparoscopic surgery, and robotic-assisted surgery.

Dr. Whynott has a special interest in treating a wide range of reproductive and gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, fibroids, ovulation disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and Asherman’s syndrome. She also provides expert care for individuals with congenital gynecologic anomalies, such as vaginal and uterine septums, Müllerian agenesis, and other uterine anomalies. Her practice includes care for adolescents and adults, with a commitment to inclusive, affirming care for the LGBTQ+ community.

With an approach grounded in evidence-based medicine and whole-person care, Dr. Whynott recognizes that fertility treatment can be emotionally and physically challenging. She strives to support her patients with empathy and clarity, helping them build the families they’ve dreamed of.

Dr. Whynott earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. She completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Iowa.

Outside of work, Dr. Whynott enjoys spending time outdoors—especially paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, and relaxing at the beach. She’s an avid traveler and is always up for exploring new restaurants and experiences.
