This July, the Hotel Del Coronado will host hundreds of medical professionals from around the world for the 31st annual In Vitro Fertilizations and Embryo Transfer conference. Reproductive Partners Fertility Center-San Diego is excited to again co-host the conference with UC San Diego Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad (IVI).
This conference brings internationally-renowned faculty to present the latest developments in every phase of IVF and embryo management, focusing on best clinical practices and treatment. Dr. David Meldrum has organized the conference since it started and will join Reproductive Partners San Diego physicians Dr. Gabriel Garzo, Dr. Antoni Duleba, and Dr. Irene Su, as a speaker and panelist.
Dr. Garzo will present research on single embryo transfer and speak about how this practice can improve IVF outcomes by eliminating the risk of twin pregnancies with IVF. Reproductive Partners continues to see excellent success rates with this method.
Keynote speaker Shoukhrat Mitalipov, PhD, from the Oregon Health and Science University Center for Embryonic Cell and Gene Therapy, will discuss their recent breakthrough on gene editing of human embryos.
Last year, over 400 professionals from the field of infertility attended the conference. For more information, visit the In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer conference website.
